Amazing bag, it is useful for school and going places there’s 2 big compartments, a small compartment able to store small things a medium compartment with pen holders a pouch a key holder and you can store your phone and a power bank and whatever small things you need along with the laptop bag you can fit most laptops but I would check the dimensions it has worked for everything I’ve needed it for, take on walks, picnic, school, college anything there’s also a bottle holder, if you’re worried about it being too big, dont worry it will not look full unless you have it really full, it feels very nice and high quality it doesn’t have anything completely special but the little brown tab and the tags look really nice and simplistic, really great bag, highly recommend!

Great bag, lots of room and great quality

Bought two of these for my daughters to use at school. Unfortunately in less than 6 months we will have to replace these! The zippers are stuck and running off the track causing the backpack to open up.

I like to have a swiss army backpack with lots of little pockets to properly store things and so that I can retrieve what I want without looking. The current bag doesn't have the inner zipper pockets my last one had. It also doesn't come in red.

I use one of these for travel. It is excellent at carrying everything I need for the plane as well as an unplanned overnight…which I am always prepared for. It fits under seats or anywhere, is comfortable to wear when full. It converts to a beach or hiking bag when I reach my destination. I wish it could attach to the handle of my rollaboard.

I have been using the Jansport Firewire for over 10 years now and it's the perfect backpack. It was starting to get a little worn so I wanted to order a replacement and was devastated to find out that they don't make this model anymore and couldn't find any used ones on the internet everywhere. I decided to give the Odyssey a try and although it's not the same as the Firewire I love it already and even some things that I like about it even more. The laptop sleeve is inside instead of an opening on the side where my laptop fell out on numerous ocassions because i forgot to zip it up. The key loop inside is great to hold my keys and the look and design is awesome. I love it so far

I got this for my 6th grader to use everyday. She brings a water bottle to school everyday so not having a pocket to use is making it difficult. The quality of Jansport is definitely not what it used to be. I am going to have to buy a new backpack as she can't go without one since it's takes 3-6 weeks to send it back and last years doesn't fit all of her stuff. This backpack should never be sold with that flaw.

I've only been using this backpack for less than 3 months and the interior has ripped and the straps are starting to pull the stitches out!! I bought a Jansport years ago in high school and it went thru the ringer and lasted all four years and then some. But this backpack quality is low. Using for not even 3 months and it's coming apart. The warranty part sucks, like it's great that one is offered but you have to send your pack in to the warranty center and then it'll take minimum 4 weeks to be returned and I can't have no backpack for that long. I don't recommend.

The pack still had a lot of life in it after a school year and a half of use, but unfortunately one of the main zippers broke and rendered it useless. The bottle holder on my son's FX also broke.
